(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) — 314 Action Fund today endorsed a slate of three candidates for office in South Carolina, Ohio, and Iowa. Two candidates are doctors, answering the call to serve as 314 Action Fund’s Guardians of Public Health works to elect 100 new doctors in office by 2030.
“Public health is under attack and our mission to elect more doctors and STEM leaders to office has never been more urgent. 314 Action is committed to rolling up our sleeves to support and invest in qualified candidates running for office at every level of government to elect Democratic scientists Americans can trust,” said Shaughnessy Naughton, President of 314 Action Fund. “From the Senate, to the Governor’s office, and to Congress, Americans deserve elected officials who will protect their health care and ensure policies are backed by science. We’re proud to endorse these incredible STEM candidates and look forward to working together to compete in these high-profile and competitive races in 2026.”

Through Guardians of Public Health, 314 Action is working to elect 100 new doctors, up and down the ballot and across the nation by 2030, raising and spending over $25 million in the effort.
