PHILADELPHIA — Today, 314 Action Fund announced the start of its five-figure digital campaign for Democrat Dr. Barbara Sharief in Florida’s 20th Congressional District.

The buy comes in the home stretch of the campaign, reaching highly likely Democratic primary voters across the district on issues including women’s health, equal pay and workplace justice. The campaign will include both static display ads as well as digital video ads and will run on social media, website, pre-roll, and streaming platforms.

The ad is expected to deliver more than 1,750,000 impressions across multiple channels in the last week of the campaign.

“Dr. Barbara Sharief brings years of experience to the table as a nurse, advocate and lawmaker,” Josh Morrow, the executive director of 314 Action Fund. “We are proud to have her back ahead of November 2nd and look forward to helping elect another STEM professional whose voice is so needed in Congress.”

Dr. Sharief’s campaign has gained even more momentum in recent weeks with the endorsements of both the Miami Herald and The Palm Beach Post, endorsements that are highlighted in the pre-roll ad.

314 Action Fund is powered by a grassroots community of over six million people working to elect scientists, doctors, and STEM professionals who will use science and facts to address our most pressing issues like climate change and health care. In 2018 and 2020, we played a pivotal role in flipping the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, electing eleven Democratic scientists to federal office, as well as over 100 to state and local offices. In 2021 and 2022, 314 Action Fund will continue working to elect science leaders and defeat climate deniers in Congress and legislatures across the country.
