CNBC EXCLUSIVE: Largest pro-science group in the U.S. "will target five Republican governors: Greg Abbott of Texas, Ron DeSantis of Florida, Kim Reynolds of Iowa and Doug Ducey of Arizona. Glenn Youngkin, a former executive at the Carlyle Group and the Republican nominee for the governor’s seat in Virginia, will also be targeted." 100% of this campaign is powered by individual donations: Will you donate TODAY to help us raise $10,000 so we can hold these anti-science Republicans accountable for their attacks on science, public health, and democracy?
Senator Mark Kelly is an engineer and NASA astronaut. A graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and the U.S. Naval Postgraduate school, Mark is also a retired naval aviator and deployed during the Gulf War and in Operation Desert Storm.
As an astronaut who has spent nearly two months in space, including aboard the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle Endeavor, Mark knows the importance of facts and evidence in everyday decision making. Mark and his wife, former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, live in Tucson.
Mark was 314 Action’s first endorsement of the 2020 cycle, and we are proud to have raised over $2.6 million directly for his campaign to elect him to his first term.
Mark is running to protect his seat after defeating Martha McSally in one of the most-watched elections of 2020. This race is a top battleground in the 2022 U.S. Senate elections as anti-science Republicans try to hand the chamber’s majority back to Mitch McConnell. Join us and donate to Mark’s campaign today to keep this seat — and the pro-science majority — blue.
