U.S. Senator Chris Coons has represented the people of Delaware since 2010. Chris received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and political science from Amherst College, and he went on to graduate from Yale’s Law and Divinity Schools.
As an attorney, Chris worked for W.L. Gore & Associates, a materials science company. Later, he worked in county government as the New Castle County Executive and as the president of the New Castle County Council.
