A new poll found that Democrats are slightly FAVORED for control of Congress. We've done the math: If our House challengers win, Democrats have the numbers to win the House. Our average donation is $17: Can you give that or more so our House candidates have the resources they need to WIN?
Brian Williams graduated from the Air Force Academy and completed his medical residency at Harvard, and his trauma surgery fellowship at Emory University. In 2016, Brian led the trauma team at Parkland Hospital that treated Dallas police officers shot in an ambush at a peaceful protest downtown.
Brian went on to serve as the Chair of the Dallas Citizens Police Review Board, helping to bridge the divide between police officers and the community; worked briefly in Chicago to help open a new trauma center at the University of Chicago on the city’s Southside; and worked in DC as a health policy advisor for Senator Chris Murphy and then-Speaker Nancy Pelosi, helping Democratic leaders draft and pass the most consequential gun safety law in modern American history.
Brian is running to keep Texas’ 32nd Congressional District blue (which is now an open seat after Colin Allred announced his Senate bid and was a GOP stronghold until 2018). If elected, Brian would be the first trauma surgeon ever elected to Congress in history and would also become the first Black doctor with the ability to cast votes on the House floor.
